Highlights 2019/20

Finzean School has its own Electric Car Charger.
Due to increasing energy costs and the school energy budget being devolved to the school, the charger can no longer be offered to members of the public.  Sincere Apologies.

The Tom’s Cairn 10K Trail Race is a fundraiser for Finzean School and Ballogie Nursery, organised by the Parent Council. Funds from this event will go towards teaching materials and subsidising educational trips.

Lots of people turned out for the day and we raised a great deal of money for the school – Thank you so much  🙂

P1/2/3/4 made a Guy for the Bonfire.  They had a great time making it but I did keep thinking someone was sitting there every time I went passed.

Pupils raised £11.80 for Poppy Day.

We held a Ceilidh to celebrate St Andrew’s Day on the 30th November.  We danced lots of Scottish Dances, some pupils read Scottish poems, a pupil showed us how to do Highland Dancing, and another played the Chanter.  We finished off the Ceilidh with us all singing Auld Lang Syne.

We stamped and sorted Christmas cards for Finzean Christmas Post. We will deliver the cards around Finzean and Ballogie. We are raising money for Finzean School and Unicef.

Quality Meat Scotland came to Finzean School. The pupils got the chance to make Lamb Tacos and learn about meat.

Finzean School and Ballogie Nursery Parent Council run the Finzean Christmas Fair. What a lovely Community event.

We had a Christmas Disco – Unique Disco came to the school. Everyone had a great time.

SSPCA came in to talk to all the classes about animal welfare. We collected some donations and delivered them to the SSPCA at Drumoak.

Dropping off the donations.
